How we See to Who we’ll Be

“Don’t worry about how you ‘should’ draw it. Just draw it the way you see it.” said Tim Burton.

As artists, what we make of what we see is important; and becomes the most valuable aspect of our creations.

Depiction of the seen becomes unique and characteristic, when an ‘only’ tag is added to it by the audience — where they realize they never saw it that way; and they feel ‘only you’ as a Creator saw it that way — infusing a sense of novelty and freshness. The process of convincing oneself becomes a nuanced feeling of homecoming to reflect.

Effectively generating authentic empathy could go a long way in creating a world of one’s own. As Creators, what we see, think of, visualize, produce and display need not be driven, restrained or determined by the conventional alone. Emotion, feeling and resonance have no rules of proportion. Creation thus, could be more effective if done in an open, receptive, uninhibited way. The power of spontaneity and flow could seep-in at any point in time during the process.

As Creators what we see becomes what we create, and who we evolve into.
