What does perfection mean to us? And, what does this notion of perfection do or not do for us?
Spanish artist Salvador Dali once said “Have no fear of perfection, you will never reach it.”
Perfection can never be viewed the same way by everyone.
Some of us may feel threatened by the sheer fear of attaining perfection so much so that we end up putting-up a sub-potential effort. Are we looking at overcoming the fear of achieving perfection or achieving perfection?
Striving to do our best in the given point in time is what makes our journeys significant and memorable. That leads us to excellence. That way our potential comes out in its entirety.
The aspect of mastery too plays a role. This is where the cause and predicted consequence play their roles. The thought of attaining (subjective) perfection is more in view of collective validation and individual notions than what a Creator brings out as mastery over the craft.
Thus to us as Creators, thinking, feeling, collaborating, assessing, and creating take priority over being perfect.
It’s all about what the creations tell and how we feel it!
